Blog Campaign Case Study (Software Consulting)

An effective blog is the part of a complete marketing strategy that creates top-of-mind awareness and interest. A good blogs helps prospects understand their problems and/or consider their options.
My Free Consultation lets you brainstorm all your options and clarify your goals. It can help you uncover which questions must be asked for the copy to get the results you want – questions that could make or break your campaign.

The Challenge:

This Technology Consulting firm offered Salesforce Consulting. Their blogs needed to provide insight on better ways to utilize Salesforce. The client had a large number of competitors and was offering a seemingly generic solution. So, part of the problem was to find creative ways to discuss the best ways to fix a poor implementation and use Salesforce more effectively.

Client: RTS Labs
Project: Blog campaign focused on Salesforce consulting and implementations – written by Derek Little
Objectives: Build awareness for use of client’s Salesforce expertise. Convert prospects by offering a free download at the end of each blog.

My Solution:

My first step was to meet with the RTS Labs team and understand their goals. An analysis was done on the clients’ markets, competitors, and unique offerings. A selection of topics and a Content Calendar were developed. A Slack channel was set up to manage project communications. Two articles per month were developed. Blog images were provided along with the articles. The campaign lasted one year.

The client used their articles to drive traffic on Linkedin and other social media platforms. The campaign lasted one year.
