Listening to podcasts has never been more popular. Each month in Google there are over 500,000  monthly searches and 30,000 clicks for the word “podcast.” 

In contrast, there are only 220,000 searches for the word “blog,” and less than 2,900 clicks. Reading takes more effort than listening.
